Whether it’s culture, history or wilderness you crave; Andalucia is an unmissable stop on your Spanish itinerary. Considered by many to be the heart of Spanish culture, it’s here in sunbaked southern Spain that you’ll find the roots of flamenco and tapas, the spectacular artistic legacies of the Moors and some of Spain’s finest Gothic and Renaissance architecture.

The landscapes here are overwhelmingly beautiful: fertile Mediterranean valleys dotted with whitewashed villages, hilltop fortresses and medieval cities, framed by the snowcapped peaks of the Sierra Nevada.

Walk among the striking limestone towers and gorges of the Sierra de Grazalema, hike uncrowded trails across ‘hidden Andalucia’ and follow the Camino Real (Royal Trail) linking the beautiful villages of the east Alpujarras mountains.

Discover sun-drenched landscapes dotted with Moorish flat-roofed villages, ancient aqueducts, citrus groves and grey-green forests of olive trees, cork oak and Spanish silver fir.

Experience vibrant culture, impressive architecture and a cobblestoned maze of narrow city streets in Seville, the region’s beautiful capital; and fall in love with the medieval city of Granada, an iconic hill town centered around the most exquisite legacy of the Moors—the Alhambra palace.

Join us as we explore the natural and cultural riches of Andalucia!

Visas

Visas are not required for citizens of Australia, Canada, USA and New Zealand for up to 90 days in a period of 180 days for all Schengen countries (see www.schengenvisainfo.com/schengen-visa-countries-list/ for countries part of the Schengen). Please ensure your passport is stamped on arrival in the Schengen area. For all other nationalities and for longer stays in countries covered by the Schengen Agreement (Australian New Zealand, Canadian and US passport holders), please contact the relevant embassy. Stays of longer than 90 days in the Schengen area require a long stay visa for the country you are spending most time in. However long stay visas are unlikely to be issued unless there is a valid reason (eg. studying in country). Unfortunately we cannot assist in obtaining visas for long stays due to individual country visa requirements.
